Fall is a wonderful time of year! kids are back at school and parents are happy. Many people chose to take their vacation at this time of year to avoid the crowded highways and campgrounds. The days are still warm and the evenings are cool. Our thoughts start to focus on Thanksgiving and even a bit on that big holiday season to come.

Why is fall a great time to have your RV or Pick-up Serviced? For all you RV owners getting ready to head south, now is the time to get your unit in for a service and check over before your leave. Let us give you some peace of mind before you make the big trek south. Not headed south? We can help you winterize your Chassis so everything is ready to go come Spring!

For those of you with Pickups and SUV’s, we know you worked them hard this summer, pulling the trailer, carrying quads, off road trips and hauling the boat. Give you vehicle some TLC with an oil change, lube and filter! W also provide a Complementary  safety inspection. Your Pick-up or SUV will thank you by running smoothly for another season.

TRUCK TECH  TECH TIP

This season our techs recommend having your engine’s cooling system tested. Reasons to be sure your cooling system is working properly:
  1. Are there leaks within the system? Preventative maintenance can help avoid  being stranded or having to pay costly tow bills!
  2. Testing will find problems with hoses and connections that appear to be in good condition when under pressure. Good preventative maintenance again!
  3. Coolant is harmful to the environment, finding and fixing leaks is  good stewardship.
  4. Radiator caps should also be pressure tested. Caps that are properly sealed raise the boiling point of your coolant, this prevents boil over/overheating.
COVERALL KEN SAYS “PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE IS LIKE WEARING GUMBOOTS IN THE RAIN…IT JUST MAKES SENCE!”
